I will be posting a poem everyday until the publication of the Glint Notebook (April 22nd. Please share if you feel inclined.
“Untitled”
Line breaks don’t solve everything
to my right is a 34 year old flower
their richness of dramatic pauses
completely unexplored,
to my other a 22 year old promise
we may never speak to contracted gold mines
Utilized for digging in the dirt and extraction
split between pathways and neighborhoods
steep to soar
is it bitter to need more
Line breaks don’t solve the world’s problems
to my meditation practice and breath work
still must rise, and get to work today,
at night I bleed the color of kingdoms
take away the truth
take the minute mutation
extrapolate
metropolitan areas
in the end
be weary of
believing to much of what people say
Line breaks don’t solve anything
